Your email account is free of ads and includes enhanced security options. Microsoft is transparent about data collection and use so you can make informed decisions. Unlike other cloud-based email systems, they do not use your email, calendar, or other personal content to target ads to you. The data they collect benefits you and make your experience better.
Folder Management allows you to easily organize your emails and the always ready Search feature lets you search for past emails.
Contacts lets you manage your own contact database including name, address, phone, email addresses, notes and more.
Calendar
Schedule and manage class assignments, homework and test schedules, meetings or events.
You are not limited to home-school items either. You can use the calendar to schedule other personal or family events too. If you add an airline flight, for example, Outlook will create a simplified check-in link. You can send calendar invites to anyone (with or without a home-schooler account). Get reminder notifications before a scheduled appointment and see conflicts ahead of time to avoid scheduling two things at the same time.

Tasks
One of the cool things many people like (ourselves included) is the Task or To Do feature in Outlook. Easily create tasks / to-do lists to help you stay organized. This helps prioritize tasks by the day, week, month, etc. You can create a one-time To Do or even track regularly scheduled tasks.
Tasks help build valuable organization skills while taking the burden off of having to juggle a dozen things in your head at once. Just add a subject, date and priority and even set a reminder.
